
Watt controlled programs You can chose from 19 watt controlled fixed programs and 9 high-performance watt profiles. Each of these programs offers a variation of the load level in 5-watt increments, enabling an adaptation to your individual requirements. 3 cool down programs provide an optimum termination of your training units.
Pulse rate controlled programs In the pulse rate controlled programs the braking power is determined by the pulse rate. If the pulse rate increases above a programmed value, the pedaling resistance will automatically be reduced, if the pulse rate decreases the pedaling resistance will increase. This optimizes the training effect. You can choose from 10 pulse rate controlled programs. Competition circuits Three stored international triathlon racing courses of Roth, Lanzarote and Hawaii offer the athlete an efficient and varied training. Furthermore, all 21 stages of the Tour de France can be run either partially or in full length. |

Special programsIn the intensification program the pedaling force required from the user is kept constant at a predetermined level. When the pedaling speed increases, the load increases, and vice versa.
The strength program has been specifically developed for muscular training. The user can choose among 15 predefined strength levels.
The RPM program has been developed especially for cyclists. The pedaling speed in revolutions per minute (RPM) is maintained at a level fixed by the user. If the RPM value increases, the pedaling resistance will automatically increase, if the RPM value decreases, the pedaling resistance will be reduced.
2 Conconi tests allow an optimization of the training control. These tests are based on the findings of Professor Conconi, who discovered that the heart pulse rate, in the range of 110 to 170 pulsations per minute, varies in a linear relationship to the load increase. In the higher performance range, the line deflects. This deflection point marks the anaerobic threshold. |
